Matt and Jon Russo- Greenwood Lake- New Jersey
Ski Haven Marine was established in 2018 by Matt and Jon Russo. The business is the realization of a life long dream fueled by a passion for all things boating. That passion began at the age of 5, as they spent their summers cruising the Barnegat bay with their father. From racing Sunfish sail boats, to barefoot and slalom waterskiing, to wake surfing, water sports were always a staple in their lives.
At the age of 15, Matt began working at South Shore Marina on Greenwood lake, and Jon followed a few years later. Their humble beginnings working at the marina often consisted of washing boats for customers, and maintaining docks. It didn't take long before the two began building their impressive resume that they now carry with them to their new business. With now nearly 20 years of combined experience, Matt and Jon have committed themselves to continuing industry training to keep up with ever changing technology found in the premium products we carry. This includes factory training and technician certifications from PCM Marine engines, Honda Marine, and Centurion / Supreme Boats. Matt is also a Licensed captain, as well as an American Sailing Association certified instructor. Jon also holds multiple automotive repair certifications from iCar, ASE, and Chief.
In 2013 the two began implementing a new business model at South Shore Marina that laid the ground work for what was to become Ski Haven Marine. After countless hours of brand research, the choice was made to sign on as a dealer with Centurion Boats. The Centurion/ Supreme brand shares many of the same core principles that guide Ski Haven Marine in their mission. This includes delivering a superior product, uncompromising quality, and exceptional service centered around the water sports industry. We also proudly carry Berkshire Pontoon boats, and Honda Marine outboard engines.
